I was attracted to this book because… it’s a Stephen King book

This book was about one of the best war snipers turned hired killer is ready for his last job. But, he only takes jobs where his victim is a bad person. This job requires waiting for the right circumstances for the target to be available. Billy poses as a writer during this period. Instead of playing the part of a writer, Billy writes an autobiography which helps us understand his backstory. Stephen passes some interesting writing tips along the way. Very close to the time he is planning to make his escape, he rescues a young woman from a life and death situation. They develop a meaningful and surprising relationship as they move toward the climax.

Things I liked about this book. As always, the story is fast-paced and intriguing. The relationships are appealing. This is a lesson that every person has reasons for how they turn out. There can be good in almost anyone.

Why you should read this book. BILLY SUMMERS will challenge your perspective on the world.

This book lived up to the back cover copy. The information on the back cover portrays the book accurately.
