Fox in my backyard 1 22 cropped

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV

This week, a path opened for me which should lead to an answered prayer. But, just like a game of Super Mario, there are a few hurdles I have to jump and a few traps I have to avoid. Most of the rest of my life, including my writing is on hold. I know it is a temporary pause.

A friend came over and helped me get over a few of the hurdles and not get stuck in the traps. It made all the difference. And others offered encouragement.

This fox paused in my back yard Sunday, to take a breath, stretch and enjoy the sunshine for a moment. And then he darted back to his path of safety in the woods.

I’m trusting in these few days of hurdles and traps to bring me to a better place.

How are you managing your hurdles and avoiding your traps this week?
