I was attracted to this book because… A story about a pandemic published in April, 2020 - It sold itself to me.

This book was about a mysterious killer virus which brings the world to it’s knees. The story is fast paced, and every page drove the world into a more perilous place. This journey was more frightening as the world I outside my house was beginning to fall apart. And the memory of the story comes back to mind in a terrifying way with every newscast.

Things I liked about this book The plot kept you interested and you did not want to put it down.

Why you should read this book  Fiction can be educational for real life. This book falls into this category. This book should encourage everyone to take any pandemic seriously. Otherwise the results are not pretty.

This book lived up to the back cover copy This is my favorite which speaks to the book. “Featuring accounts of past plagues and pandemics, descriptions of pathogens and how they work, and dark notes about global warming, the book produces deep shudders…a disturbing, eerily timed novel.” Kirkus Reviews
