I was attracted to this book because… the current importance and the historical significance of this report. It is important to read the report.

This book was about - This is official report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Things I liked about this book - I believe it is important to see the evidence the special counsel collected. I have the report issued by DOJ, as it was the first printed version available. As I’m not familiar with official and legal writing, it was very tiring to read. At first, I was taken by how much information is repeated throughout both volumes. But since reading it, I’ve wondered if the repetition of key information is part of building the case. It is fascinating to read in the footnotes where the information was obtained. The redactions were not as cumbersome to the reading as I had feared. I generally felt just as happy not to know who was being talked about.

Why you should read this book - I believe every American who is interested in elections and worried about what our future could look like.

This book lived up to the back cover copy - This is an easy one, the back copy is a total reflection of the book.
