It’s Spring Break…
Attention, all! See the marvels of God!
He plants flowers and trees all over the earth,
Bans war from pole to pole,
breaks all the weapons across his knee.
“Step out of the traffic! Take a long,
loving look at me, your High God,
above politics, above everything.”
Jacob-wrestling God fights for us,
God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.
Psalm 46:9-11, MSG
I’m on spring break this week from two of my major responsibilities. A friend posted this beautiful rainbow today. What a great way to start a holiday!
Yesterday, I attended the Dallas Quilt Show My Wandering through the creativeness of the quilts and the possibilities in the vendor booths restored my spirit. I met an author, Patience Griffin, who books, quilt patterns and fabric. Three of my favorite things!
And even with a strange theme of owls and bats, I found quilts featuring both.
How are you welcoming spring this year?

Celebrating Public School Week with my four public schools. These are current photos of the schools.
When I attended (1) Central Elementary - it was The Elementary School. This building was the entire school for my Dad, from eighth - twefth grade and for my Mom in her senior year.
Another sign of the strange times we live in, celebrating a day of numbers. You would think we might need to get out more, Oh, but then that is true.
Still it i is hard to believe we are 22 years into this century. The strange gift of being born in the middle of a cneture is expercing two centuries.
If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the right way. You should go this way.” Isaiah 30:21, NCV

Stretching your imagination…
The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall [of protection] in his own imagination and conceit. Proverbs 18:11, AMP
It is true, isn’t it? We use our imaginations to turn our world into a fortress with powerful walls to protect of us.
In my story, The Owl and The Bat, I want to take your imagination outside your fortress and into the woods.
My owl and bat characters are going to take you into their worlds. The question, dear reader, are you ready to have your imagination stretched outside of your fortress?
Let me know if you are interesting in these early pages of my story as it develops.
Where do you need your imagination stretched?
