I was attracted to this book because…I heard Tish speak at a webinar and was intrigued by her talk. I think we all yearn to know more about how to find consolation in our God as we go through this life.
This book was about…how to pray in those dark times in our lives when we are overwhelmed by life’s circumstance. Tish walks through her own grieving and the comfort she found in God’s spirit, His word, other writing of other believers and in His community.
Things I liked about this book…The beautiful writing combined with solid theological thinking.
Why you should read this book…To take a closer step to being able to rest in the darkness of our lives.
